When is camp open?
The core day for camp is from 9.30am to 4pm.
There is an option for an extended day starting at 8.30am (breakfast is provided) or a late collection at 5pm (a light tea is provided). You will need to pre-register for these options.
What does my child need to wear?
Your child will need weather appropriate clothing. At all times of the year it is a good idea to wear or bring waterproof trousers and jacket.
In summer we suggest lightweight long trousers and a lightweight long sleeved t-shirt. As the colder days arrive layers are best with a warm coat. Winter Solstice Camp attendees and Adventure Club crew will need a head torch ideally with red light
Welly boots or waterproof walking boots are great. Crocs are not appropriate wear – they do not provide appropriate ankle support and therefore can be dangerous on uneven terrain.
What does my child need to bring?
Everything they bring should be named including clothes they may remove like coats and jumpers.
Packed lunch (no nuts please), a water bottle, spare socks all in a named bag.
How to find you?
Autumn Woods Farm is can be found using What3Words /////shots.eliminate.served
Directions: postcodes aren’t helpful as they direct you to a different location.
Our woodland is in village of Grayswood, a mile outside Haslemere.
* If you drive out of Haslemere towards Milford on the A286 as you come down the hill after about a mile you will see a pub on your left (The Wheatsheaf) and a car garage on your right (Grayswood Cars)
* Shortly after this garage you take a right turn into Lower Road which runs along the top of the village green.
* Drive to the end of this road (do not take the right hand fork into The Mount).
* At the end of the short road is a T junction (left takes you to Chiddingfold) and straight ahead you will see an unmade road -this is Muddy Lane.
* You need to find somewhere along the road to left or right to park. There are no allocated parking spots as this is a village but there are more than enough areas to park.
* Staff will be on hand to help you from the top of Muddy Lane from 9.10am and will take children to walk them onto site if you would like us to do so.
Please be mindful of allowing access to residents driveways when you park.
To relieve the parking at the main drop off time our staff will be located at the top of Muddy Lane at the junction with Holdfast Lane and Prestwick Lane. If you are happy to register your child and let them walk with staff along the lane we are happy to take children at this point.
If you would like to walk your child along the lane we suggest you park at the forestry car park and walk to our site (this walk will take approximately 7 minutes each way).
For early drop and all collection times you will need to park in the village and walk to Autumn Woods Farm to collect your child
